Emily Wheatcroft-Snape is a Tāmaki Makaurau–based audio engineer and producer with over nine years of experience in Aotearoa’s vibrant music scene. Emily started her career at Roundhead Studios before working as a freelance recording, mixing, and mastering engineer. Recent clients include Fazerdaze, Fables, Jazmine Mary, Aro, Annika Rani, Sulfate, Skilaa, Reb Fountain, Karl Steven, Greta O'Leary, and Theia.
You can spot Emily on the cover of the December/January 2024 issue of NZ Musician, and she was nominated for Best Engineer at the 2024 and 2025 Aotearoa Music Awards.
Beyond engineering, Emily releases music under her artist project Em, documents Tāmaki Makaurau’s soundscape in her Auckland Sounds project, and leads Record Enable, an initiative supporting gender diversity in technical music roles.
